The Indian Association for Study of the Liver is a non-profit, organization meeting the educational and scientific needs of nearly 400 physicians, mainly gastroenterologists and hepatologists, as well as researchers and basic scientists. INASL organizes one Annual Meeting and one National Meeting in association with Indian Society of Gastroenterology (ISG) and Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy of India (SGEI). It also organizes two to six Single Theme Meetings during the year to stimulate research, providing practice guidelines and guiding preventive and therapeutic decisions.
